Here we go…
As all of you have noticed, I haven’t been posting in a while. I apologize for that. I have been going through a lot, and though I have mentioned that before, I haven’t said exactly what it was. Well, I am ready to spill the beans, so to speak.
I am getting a divorce. My husband and I are great friends and have been together a total of 8 years but when we met, I was 19 and he was 20. I just turned 28 on April 9th. We have grown apart over the years as people. We have different interests and plans for our lives and they don’t go together. We are getting along and will remain friends forever. We just need to move along with our lives.
Everything is going great otherwise. I have been feeling better than I have in a long time. Less stress is always a good thing. Also, I have started a relationship with a friend who I have known for the past 3 years and I helped him when he was going through tough times and he was there for me. We always wanted the same things and now we both have the chance to do what we want together.
Now before you begin to judge me, my soon to be ex-husband is well aware of everything and is fine with it. This did not begin before we decided to get a divorce and my ex knows the reasons we ended our relationship and is okay with everything. We are all taking this as adults and for that I am grateful.
I do feel guilt but at the same time, I haven’t been this happy in a long time. I am looking forward to the future and beginning the rest of my life and am looking forward to moving.
I will finally be moving out of South Florida and will be moving to California in August. I am driving there with the help of Adrian and am using this trip as a vacation and as a new start. I hope you all are supportive of my decision and understand that this is one of the most happiest times in my life. If you have any problems with anything, I don’t really care. As far as I am concerned, you can click the little X on the top right corner of your screen and not come back.
I know a lot of people will understand what it’s like to start over and regardless of the circumstances, what it is like to feel like you are in love for the first time in your life and how happy you were. I feel that way everyday about Adrian and I really am looking forward to moving out to be with him in August.
Adolfo will be finally doing what he always wanted and will be moving out of state as well. He will be going to North Carolina and getting his CDL so he can drive trucks. He will still be my friend and we will always remain in contact. I am lucky that I have had him in my life because he helped me be the person I am today and I never have any regrets. How could I regret having a best friend like him for 8 years? If only every divorce could be like this, huh?
I am going to be posting a lot more now. I have actually been going through the separation for a while but with worries about people finding out before I was ready to talk about everything, I have hesitated to talk about it and even felt like I was lying on my blog because I didn’t want people I work with to know, as well as family I hadn’t told yet. I am sorry about all that. It’s nice to get this off my chest and spill it.
I hope you all wish me well and continue to visit, as I will be posting a lot now and I can be completely honest about everything and not feeling like I need to post filler content. That is gone now. Now it’s completely me, love me or hate me.

WordPress Upgraded!
I have FINALLY upgraded WordPress and I am loving what I see! The only thing I have to do now is tweak a few plug-ins and we are good to go! Yay!
WordPress 2.5.1?
Since I heard a little rumor about there being a possible WordPress 2.5.1, I am going to stick to 2.3.3 for now instead of upgrading and having to upgrade again. It can be stressful when you have to backup anything and then pray the upgrade runs smoothly. I am such a nut about losing anything, I update WordPress by hand, every file. This takes a long time, but has assured me of never crashing before. I think I will stick with method.
WordPress 2.5
After waiting forever for this update, WordPress 2.5 is finally here! I have been waiting to do any major changes because this is such a HUGE update and I don’t know what plug-ins or anything extra will work. Hell, I don’t even know if my theme will work. I’ll be updating my site over the next few days and be up and running again. I have lots of new stuff to write about and I am going to be doing an overhaul of the content.

Just An Update
I just wanted to let everyone know I am okay and feeling better. I’ve been going through a lot in my personal life and I’ve been neglecting my blog. I know I am not obligated to write every day, but I like to. It gives me an outlet to get rid of pent up energy or just run my mouth about shit. I’m going to be posting a lot soon. I have tons of music to upload and lots of other things I’ve been wanting to write about.
I’ve decided to scale back on some of the memes I usually participate in because I am starting to feel like they are just overtaking my blog and I’ve lost sight of what I started to do with my blog, and I want to start getting more personal with everything and write about the things I like more or even if I just want to throw out an opinion about some random shit.
I guess what I should say is: Goodbye Friday’s Feast, 10 On Tuesday, Unconscious Mutterings, and Booking Through Thursday. Well, maybe I’ll keep the last one, but I’ve been neglectful of that one lately. Anyways… if you stop reading my blog because you only cared about the memes and you don’t like what I have to say, well, it was nice knowin’ ya. If you stick around and continue to visit me, then I know you actually cared about what I had to say to begin with.

While I love all her poetry, I chose Phenomenal Woman for many reasons, but mostly because I can relate and so can other women, regardless of race. - According to Margaret Jones, author of a Patsy Cline biography, there are a dozen places in Virginia that could claim to be the hometown of the nomadic Cline. Her family moved 19 times before she was 15.
- At age 47, the Rolling Stones’ bassist, Bill Wyman, began a relationship with 13-year old Mandy Smith, with her mother’s blessing. Six years later, they were married, but the marriage only lasted a year. Not long after, Bill’s 30-year-old son Stephen married Mandy’s mother, age 46. That made Stephen a stepfather to his former stepmother. If Bill and Mandy had remained married, Stephen would have been his father’s father-in-law and his own grandpa.

- The song “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling” was written by George Graff, who was German, and was never in Ireland in his life.

He just tossed it into a trunk and didn’t see fit to retrieve it until he needed it for a Bing Crosby-Fred Astaire movie, Holiday Inn 10 years later. Bing Crosby was a staunch Catholic and at first refused to sing the song because he felt it tended to commercialize Christmas. He finally agreed, took eighteen minutes to make the recording, and then the “throw-away” song become an all-time hit. Crosby’s version has sold over 40 million copies.
